Traders Hotel

Here's the video on the Valentine's Date at Traders Hotel! :)

Happy valentine's day!!!!!!! <3<3<3

If you're reading this NOW, you probably are still thinking of where to bring your date tonight..am I right? But if you don't have a date tonight...it's okay! Read on so that you know where to bring your date...when you have a date in the future!!! :Pv

So I've been blessed enough to attend a fancy valentine dinner at the Traders Hotel that is located at the heart of KL... It is literally next to the KLCC twin towers!

   Traders Hotel.

A spectacular view of the twin towers from the hotel room (where the date was-private function)

We had a 4-course dinner. Unfortunately I didn't take the picture of the appetiser because I was too excited :( The appetiser was a very delicious, creamy and yummy mushroom soup that was served with buns.
This signature dish- Sirloin steak topped with Lobster with (some kind of) purée. SUPER. DUPER. SCRUMPTIOUS. Everything was custom made by Melvin, the sous chef of Traders hotel.

If you're a sweet tooth, you're gonna loveeeeeeee this! Fall-in-love instantly with this dessert! Brownies were so moist and so delicious!

They even prepared chocolates for your lovely date! Everything is good. Seriously.

This is the famous mamak (high class) fried rice! Cooked with the freshest ingredients... One of their signature dishes. Even the tourists love it! You can order this at the 5th floor of Traders Hotel where they also serve buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner! Different kinds of cuisine-one of the best!

        Some other delicious dishes!!!!!

Overall, 9.7/10
Super good, friendly service. Food is amazing! The view is spectacular... Perfect for you and your valentine date!
By the way, did I mention that they have a SkyBar there?!?!?! OMG awesome!!!!

Till then,
Enjoy your date!

Three Little Pigs & the Big Bad Wolf

Howdy! How was your valentine's day? Yay or Nay?!
If you manage to "sweep her/him off her/his feet" with your lady/man, here's a place you could go for your 2nd date!!!

When TLP+tBBW first opened at Tropicana City Mall, the queue was so long and the restaurant was crowded with anxious people wanting to try this newly opened western restaurant!

The restaurant is quite spacious and the interior design feels...cosy and homey!

Shirley Temple RM16
>Lime Cordial, grenadine and sprite.
YES. I finally tried this mocktail that i've always been dying to try (actresses order this in movies--just being curious). First sip: WOW!!! Super fizzy and sweet...(would be nicer if they had alcohol in it eh? HEHE)

Green Aloe Bubbly RM16
>Green apple tesseire, fresh apple and lemon.
This was super sour! ahahhaha but somehow...addictive! yums!!!

The Wolf's favourite RM29
>Creamy spaghetti with smoked pork bacon and button mushrooms, topped with poached egg and crispy bacon bits.
The dish is slightly overcharged in my opinion. The portion seems small but somehow it's quite filling. For those of you who think that you'll get 'jelat/sick of it' because it's the creamy sauce...you're probably wrong. ok. maybe each person will taste differently... But for me, this is the only spaghetti dish with creamy sauce that i'm not 'sick of it' (somehow)

Salmon Avocado RM26
> In smooth creamy sauce, topped with salmon roe and dill.
Was wondering where were the salmon pieces?? (tiny ones) Anyway, i loved this dish (for a person who loves sushi/salmon a lot, i think it tasted pretty good) All the ingredients blended well together!

Piggy Bolognaise RM22
> A classic favourite made non-classic.
That IS the description of the dish given in the menu. lol. So if you don't like creamy sauce, go for this then! Simple yet delicious.

Overall, 8.5/10
**FYI, you don't have to order drinks (they serve plain water)
Friendly but slow service.
If you wanna chill and have brunch, this would be a nice place to bring your date/bff/friends :)

p.s did you see our new logo??? HAHAHAH what do you think of it? One of us recently learned how to do 'computer stuff'! LOL

Stay tune for more juicy reviews!!!
Till then,

Inaho

Yes...it's Japanese again!!!!!!!!!
This is a new place called Inaho @ Curve. Towards e@curve, right next to the Garden (restaurant).

Apparently it's been opened for 6-7 months... Didn't know the existent of this restaurant!

Set lunch menu poster.

As you can see, there weren't many customers.

Rainbow Roll RM22

>They have 3 types of sashimi: Salmon, Tuna and Hamachi. So colorful and delicious!!! One piece in your mouth is so...orgasmic and addictive! Very thick slices topped with avocado and roe.

Sushi Yakiniku Set (Lamb/Beef) RM33.
Salad, 5 types of sushi, yakiniku, chawanmushi, miso soup

> This one was lamb. The lamb was seasoned well although it was slightly overcooked in my opinion.

>Nigiri sushi was reaaaaaaaalllllyyy good!!!! Each slice is super duper thick and fresh!

\
Garlic Rice RM7.
> Price was pretty expensive and it tasted a little bitter. But yet again, it depends on one's preference...

Chahan RM10
>Pan fried rice. Tasted better than the garlic rice. Worth trying though...

Salmon Sashimi Yakizakana (Sanma/Saba/Salmon) set RM33
>Salmon sashimi was super fresh and thick. REALLY good. For this set, we chose Sanma. This fish tasted nice-that saltiness and the fish blends really well. HOWEVER, there are a lot of tiny bones. If you're not a fan with bones or too lazy to take out those bones, i really don't recommend ordering this one then.

Grilled Beef Steak 150g RM23
> When the dish came, we were quite...confused because it looked really raw. But when we tasted it, oh man...ADDICTIVE. You can't stop eating it! The meat was so tendered and the sauce was good. wow! Delicious

Overall, 9.2/10
The service was good! We felt like royals eating in this restaurant (maybe because they didn't have any customer? lol) But people started coming around 7pm++. The food came relatively fast as well. The Ocha was one of the best i've ever tasted; thick and fragrant! You get RM1 OFF the OCHA (RM3 to RM2) when you order any set.

All their INAHO SPECIAL SETS are RM33 except for unagi set rm45
            Inaho sets are all RM22
Otsumami sets (Happy hour 6-10pm) Price range: RM38-48 served with beer/sake

The total bill without GST and service tax: RM138++ (with: RM160) Pretty pricey with the taxes. But, I really LOVED this restaurant...Everything was good! hope it stays this way!

Till then,
xx
