Strangers at 47

Yay! The weekend is almost hereeeee.... Since you guys have been so patient (as always), here's a special treat for you guys! Strangers at 47; not a stranger anymore to those who live in section 17 (lucky folks)!!! This restaurant is located same row as the famous Kanna Curry House or the Grind Burger Bar! Check it out :D

Hot Chocolate RM10
-We were quite in a dilemma on whether to order this or not because we are kind of skeptical about "things-that-we-can-make-or-get-at-home". However, this super delicious hot chocolate surprised us! The first sip tasted so hot, sweet and thick! It was so foamy yet full of thick dark chocolate at the same time! On a super cold day, this really warms you up on the inside! #musttry

Latte RM9
-Pretty bitter for a sweet-tooth like me. Some may love it as it taste reallyyyy smooth and very milky taste. If you don't love coffee, try hot chocolate or mocha.

Mocha RM10
-Taste a little sweet compared to Latte. We wanted to order mocha latte but instead, we got mocha AND latte. LOL Please make sure that they or anyone else repeats your order before they confirm it! hahaha
All their hot beverages are really smooth and delicious.

Shore to Please RM21.50
>Cajun-inspired tiger prawns, battered squid, salted egg yolk, spinach, caramelised onions & roasted cherry tomatoes.
-They have several savory crepe dishes that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
-The 3 pieces of prawns were pretty huge! This dish was pretty okay to me as it was kind of salty when eating the salted egg yolk with the spinach. They were really generous in giving the spinach as well as the battered squids which were hiding at the tip of the crepe. I loved how their presentation on the dishes look so simple and neat! It doesn't taste dry at all as there were lots of sauce inside the spinach. It was a little....wet when you're about to finish the dish. I guess if it was too dry it wouldn't taste good either. Not bad, worth a try.

Unfortunately, I was only able to try Shore to Please. However, I've heard that many people enjoyed this BBC (Big Breakfast). You can check Eat Drink KL's review on their other dishes!

Adam's Sin RM11
>Juicy cinnamon-tinged apple, wholemeal crumble, blueberries & salted caramel blending beautifully with the vanilla ice cream
-This was really a nice balanced-flavor dessert! It sounds really sweet but it tasted pretty delicious and smells pretty darn good too! If you're a fan of cinnamon, this is what you must order!

Go Banananuts RM13
>Sweet crepe, chocolate peanut spread, caramelised bananas, raspberry coulis, crushed peanuts, vanilla ice cream
-Say whuuuutttttttt. Look at the amount of ingredients they gave with that price! SO worth it and delicious! This dessert was a mixture of sweet and bitterness. It was warm and cold. A perfect combination for those who believe in "opposites attract" LOL. The chocolate sauce was really thick.

Spongebob's cribs RM8.50
>Sweet crepe, pineapple custard, meringue, caramel, crushed walnuts and vanilla ice cream
-Very pineapple-ish taste. A tinge of sourness and a bit of sweetness after eating a bite of it. Personally, I did not really enjoy this dish because it had some weird taste??? Can't really describe what it was but other people who ate it, loved it. This is just my opinion so it's up to each individual's taste and preferences! :)

Purple Rage RM9
>Sweet potato crepe, japanese sweet potato, coconut sago, pandas infused gula melaka
-O.M.GEEEE. THIS WAS SO GOOD! SERIOUSLY #MUSTTRY
This dessert was so sweet and delicious. The gula melaka was pretty sweet though. A lot of sweet potato taste! The sweet potato taste was sooooooooooo smooth and mushy!! I'm serious, you will regret if you don't try this. I can eat at least 2 of this by my own! SO GOOD.

Overall, 8.9/10
Everyone in the team is friendly!
But we really wished that they served us faster. We waited almost 45 minutes for the dish :( But we understand that they are trying their best to improve their services and just look at their dishes, each dish is presented so prettily!
