Ikea

The first time I tasted meatballs from Ikea, I knew I was going to be hooked on it....FOREVER! Ikea is not only famous for its meatballs served with delicious gravy and jam, but they do have other pretty decent food here.
Going to Ikea during the weekends (especially after 6pm) is the worst time to go. Crowd is crazy, line is long...BUT, surprising the line moves pretty fast. First impression of this place? Military style. You line up, order your food, they serve you as quickly as possible.
*oh p.s. This pictures are taken with the Blackberry 9320's 3.2mp :)

Chicken Thigh with mash potato and carrots. (RM10.90)
Quite delicious. I love their mash potato!! So good.

I've no idea what those 2 'patties' are. But they tasted like leftover potatoes and they mashed it up with other stuff. Quite hard to swallow that actually. The sauce went quite well with the salmon. However, sometimes the salmon tastes a bit odd (it depends).

This is the kid's pasta! Quite worth it. The last Sunday when i tried, they had a special for the kids meal. RM6.90 for the pasta, yogurt and a packet drink. SUPER worth it.

Popiah (Fried Spring Roll) RM0.99/piece. I loved it although some might not like this as it is left on the open tray for... a really long time. Tasty!

Almond cake. Did not like it. Too sweet. Weird.

Mushroom soup.
I love how chunky the soup is. So much wild mushrooms. Delicious when is served hot. You can also purchase a small bun (RM1) to go with the soup. Fab.

Last but not least, MEATBALLS.
15/pieces = RM14
20/pieces = RM17
I love love love love loveeeeee their meatballs. The gravy and the jam? wow! Goes so well with the meatballs. It's a #musttry if you visit this place!

Overall, 8.5/10
The reason why I would keep coming back here it's because of their affordable yet delicious dishes. So if you haven't try this yet....GO AND TRY. :)

have a great weekend ya'll!

xx
