Little Town

It's the end of a great week! And here's another review for you guys! Little Town has a few branches (if i'm not mistaken; another one is in 1 utama shopping mall). But this one is located at Cineleisure (after the curve)

I've tried the one in 1 utama, the food was better than the one in Cineleisure though.

Cashier/Drinks counter

Quite spacious.

Wanton Dry Noodles. RM8.90
Very plain. Just bits and pieces of chicken. According to sister, it's quite tasty. But, considering the price for this... Might as well go to some food court and order 2 plates of these, eh? More worth it.

Sweet and Sour Fish cutle. RM11.90
My mom ordered this and they told her that they "couldn't catch the fish". HAHA So, the dish was replaced with chicken. NOT BAD.

Apple Curry chicken. RM15.90 (Ramadhan set- not available anymore i guess)
Surprisingly quite tasty. Can't really taste much of the apple though... I thought it might taste weird, but it didn't... worth the try i guess

This came with the Ramadhan set.
Kurma (dates), the herb-kind-of-egg, and a weird looking 'salad'? lol

Roasted Braised Drums. RM15.90 Quite tasty but seems to be a little cold when they served us.

These came along with the Roasted Braised Drums.

Chicken Chop Noodle. RM11.90
This is my favorite dish among the (entire menu) dishes. Worth it and it's super tasty. Fried chicken tasted good. Noodles were good too.

Wouldn't come back for it AGAIN, unless I have to?
4/10 for this place.

2brokefoodlovers is the only place where you get the juiciest details of each dish (that we try)...Making sure that YOU won't regret what you order the next time! HAHA We write according to what our "taste buds tell us". LOL

Stay tune peeps! Have a great week!

MM Cafe

Cakes, you can't resist them.... MM Cafe is best known for its delicious moist brownie cake! Enjoy this post! :D

Brownniessssssssssssssssssssss! Yes, every time we come here for the brownies... we'd make sure EACH one of us gets ONE plate of brownie to ourselves. *TOO GOOD*

OK.. It's so moist and so...chocolatey! You can almost fall in love with it at first bite! The hot chocolate sauce blends SO well with the cold ice cream! Hot+Cold?=super scrumptious! Everything blends so well! Perfect combination (Y) However, i went back there a few weeks ago, and the cake seems to be not as good as i had last time. So, yeah. FYI.

If i'm not mistaken, this is apple crumble pie? Quite sweet though. ok, too sweet. But i guess eating it with the ice-cream is not THAT sweet...somehow

Carrot cake. Grandma's favorite. She seems to like it... I, on the other hand, not a fan of carrot cakes or cakes in general? (except chocolate cakes!!!!)

Mango Millie Crepe Cake. Aunt said that the version that I DID, was wayyyyyyyyyy nicer! lol she's such a joker. Anyways, their crepe was not too bad. But like i said, they are famous for their Brownies.

Tiramisu. This dessert was quite bitter. Not that nice also. My uncle ordered this and he didn't finish it... so yeah.........

Cappuccino. It's quite smooth when you drink it. However, i feel that it's a bit pricey for a small cup. But it's not that bad either.
Hmm, i think this is pan-grilled dory fish and chips? Not too sure. But i definitely remember the taste. It was alright. Fries were slightly burnt? The vege tasted quite weird. Fish was good though.

Ahhh, this dish had an unique name! i think the name has got something to do with the universe/planet. Can't remember! Sorry. But this was quite good, surprisingly. I loved how simple the dish tasted. Seasoning was alright...seafood was quite good also; squid and prawn.

Overall, 7/10 for MM Cafe.

Stay tune babes

Milk and butter & dip n dip

This is my first time ever eating in bangsar! After seeing so many good food that's in bangsar, I really can't stand it anymore & I must try them. Wanted to try antipodean but the queue was really long! So I ended up going to milk & butter which is just opposite antipodean, a few shops away. (Went back some time later to try antipodean! post will be coming up soon, & honestly, I prefer milk & butter's breakfast platter)

Morning glory RM20

This is their breakfast set, includes one orange juice.
This breakfast platter was really hearty & yummy :D Loved their mushroom & egg! It looks like there's more than 2 eggs there, yay? Their hotdogs were kinda oily though but other than that, it's all good.

Grilled chicken (which I forgot the name sorry)

This was just so-so... but it's cute cause it came in a heart shape! haha, served with nachos, corn (hidden under the chicken), salad and yummy bbq sauce!

Overall I think this place is cosy and nice. Would definitely go back and try out other food too! & the next stop was dip n dip :D I'm sure chocolate lovers would have heard of this place, it's all about chocolate! When I first stepped in the shop, omg the smell of chocolate was so so so strong it made me drool hahah. So we just took a seat and.... we were not really happy with their service. It took them so long just to give us the menu, so ok fine maybe they're occupied with the other customers. At first we decided to dine in, so we ordered, & we waited. & waited & waited & waited...... for REALLY long! Then we saw a group of people came in and ordered & they're orders arrived? So we went & ask the guy, he said awhile more but we decided to take away because we were rushing. So even when we ask them to take away, IT TOOK THEM FOREVER, LITERALLY. Until we waited at the counter, I think the person in charged saw we were quite impatient he quickly took our order & quickly 'complete' it. & FINALLY we got it after... god knows how long -.- but at least the guy apologized...

Brownie crepe.

This is no doubt really yummy! But I think if one person finished this it would be really jelak. But hey, who will ever be sick of chocolate right? :p

The things in dip n dip are kinda pricey though, unless you go with a group of people then you can share. I would come back if I wasn't rushing for time haha

Sushi tei

Sushi tei was the first japanese shop opened in tropicana city mall if I'm not mistaken, definitely must try new every japanese shop right? :p

Beef noodle (don't really remember the name..)

This was just so so for me.. Not a noodle kinda of person hahah.

Volcano maki

This is not bad because there's cheese on top! Though it's quite oily... but it leaves you craving for more (or maybe it's just me)

California roll

This wasn't really memorable...

Octopus!

This wasn't really that nice compared to the first time I had it. This was really hard to chew...

Dai dai roll.

This was my favourite among all! It's really worth it too compared to sushi zanmai where there's only 6 sushis, while this has slightly more given the price is almost the same. This was abit spicy, just nice for me. Love how much the sauce compliments the sushi! & yes it's salmon on top and mango in the roll, really good combination I must say :)

Overall, I think it's not too bad! Would I come back? Yeah most probably when I'm desperate for japanese food somewhere near :p

Stay tuned for more! :D

Kuantan

Road trriiippppp! So a few days ago, my family and I went to Kuantan (Dad's an event organizer, so he had a group at Bukit Gambang, Kuantan) while the rest of us....TAGGED ALONG! AHAHA

So if you're stopping by at Kuantan, you may want to check this few places out! :D

FIRST STOP : UK LOH

This photo taken from : perutbesi.blogspot.com
No idea where exactly this place is because i wasn't the driver! HAHA my relatives took us to this place to have lunch. Apparently the couple (locals) who started this restaurant had one in the U.K., they came back and opened one here in Kuantan.

Taken by me :) Their menu
When we arrived, the place is super crowded! Luckily our relatives were neighbors with the owners! haha Around 3pm and they are sold out! (I'll tell you why)

Sui Gao (Dumplings- 5 pieces per bowl)
THIS. WAS. MY. FAVORITE. DISH. OF. ALL.
Personally, I don't like any kind of dumplings at all... But i tried...and... i... *speechless*
TOO DELICIOUS. I've never tasted any dumplings like THESE; so fresh, tasty and when you bite once... you'll be smitten! It's so SO good, you have to try.

Wan Tan Mee
You can either choose noodles or rice. I chose this but i regretted. Not because it wasn't good, but the rice tasted so delicious~Their yao fan (nasi minyak/oily rice?) is SO SO good..WOW! (a fan of chicken rice' rice. LOL)

Char Siew and Siew Yok
Let me tell you a secret...... (shhhh) This was NOT our dish, but it came to our table. All of us were super blur (including my aunt who ordered the dishes) and SO, we had... a few (quite a lot) of bites...
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS, SCRUMPTIOUS!
The owner told us that you have to pre-order this dish because its their best sellers (sells out really fast). She took back this dishes :( BUT, gave us one plate for free in the end! so kind and generous of her.
Normally, I would order roasted chicken at a chicken rice shop because I don't really like char siew or siew yok that much.. but this... YOU MUST TRY!
#musthave #musttry

This, was our actual dish! HAHA. Tbh, the chicken was not seasoned really well, quite tasteless and some are undercook. Their char siew was da bomb (Y)

NEXT STOP: DESSERT! (duriannnnn)

So i manage to capture the place where we had our dessert.

somewhere here. hahaha
There are actually quite a lot of places to have durian, but you can drop by this place if you want :) Parking space is quite limited. So, car pool if you can.

*ta-da*
Durians were really good! yummy! (the bottle too cute, had to take one home. hehehe...)

 LAST STOP: Dry goods!

If i'm not mistaken, kuantan is famous for its salted fish! (correct me if i'm wrong)
Our relatives brought us here to shop for some salted fish.

ikan bilis, apa apa pun ada... :)

all sorts of snacks!

Overall, this trip was super fun!!!!! UK Loh definitely deserves a 9/10.
